Green Week at Tudor Vianu

Green Week at Tudor Vianu

Showcasing what sustainable is.

In the spirit of “Green Week” at our high school, we organized a series of activities as part of the Mi-nus project. We kicked things off by planting flowers in pots we decorated ourselves. Simple but creative, each pot became a living reminder of what this week stood for, and we take care of the plants to this day. We also held a presentation for our school community, focused on showcasing our journey with Project Mi-nus so far— the carbon footprint calculator, a trash-sorting robot idea, the research we’ve done, and the progress we’ve made.

Learning about pollution.

The highlight of the week was a workshop organized by Climatosfera, a well-known organization working in climate education. The session covered the full picture of environmental science: from pollution and human activity to greenhouse gases and global warming, giving us a deeper, expert-led understanding of exactly why the work we’re doing matters.
